Addendum from 07.02.2026.

This period is tied to my regular walks to the SPbU psychology laboratory.
Fourth year at Lesgaft, active thesis preparation, and a feeling that the main study routine was already behind me while the real work was right there, in motion. I conducted research, recorded and analyzed electroencephalograms, measuring the amplitude of emotional experiences — that very AEP. Participants came to the lab, I put electrodes on them, they watched video materials with different emotional tones, and we captured changes in the brain's electrical activity.

The days were calm and collected. I often arrived early in the morning: took the key from the desk, opened the lab, and welcomed respondents one after another. It was a time of focused, almost meditative work in which theory, practice, and personal interest converged in a single point.

The road in the image is exactly that path. If you exit the "Sportivnaya" metro, you then walk along the embankment to the psychology faculty. In winter, in the cold, under the low sun, alongside water and ice. For me this route became not just a road from point A to point B, but a transitional space — time between everyday life and research, between external movement and inner composure.
